CrossFit Hero: Zembiec
I did a scaled version of the CrossFit Hero workout “Zembiec”: Three sets of 11 155 lb. back squats, 7 strict pull up burpees, and 400 meter runs. I have gained lots of weight (muscle, I hope). I now weigh 200 lbs. I could feel every ounce as I slowly jogged those damn runs. At 190, I can run a whole lot better. Unfortunately, you can’t have it all. The squats were a breeze from a strength point of view. I wanted to do five sets, but I just felt horrible after three, so I threw in the towel.
The workout took 20:25. That was enough in a hot sun.
