Fun for the whole family in Las Vegas

October 26, 2013

Las Vegas has a lot more to offer than jus gambling, bars, strip clubs, etc. It has a lot of family activities to choose from.

Since our little boy Cyrus just loves big aggressive animals, we took him to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay to see some of his favorite animals. He found it kind of scary, but he was fascinated. He really liked the jellyfish. He was very afraid of the octopus.

Cyrus is stunned by all the lights at night. And even activities that we see as ho hum, like riding in an elevator or going to the grocery store, are wondrous if you have never experienced them before.

Wow, what a great experience for our little boy. Cryus and the shark are eyeing each other.
This is a good photo of all of you (the shark, too).

    Love, Mom

We love to hear what families are discovering in our great city!

  3. Cyrus very much loved and was scared of those sharks. He was sooo excited before we got there. He was practically pushing us out the door once he heard he was going to see them. Ran got everyone’s shoes… Repeated shark… Over and over. Huge shark… So much excitement in just the thought of going, he passed out in the car on the way. Lol so we waited walking around till he woke up. But once we finally got in, it was clingy tight to mom or dad… Those are a LOT bigger then he expected. And they are REAL! Lol some he just loved and jabbed about, others he would hide his face from. The whole if I can’t see you then u can’t see me thing still in full swing. Lol at the gift shop he picked out a blue shark. Which he carried the rest of the day by its top fin. Lol proud he has accomplished it. Oh and it didn’t help that it was “haunted reef” in theme. To celebrating Halloween. So many scary decor up. Which to a boy who’s two… Double scary. But they did have people passing out candy. So that was a huge plus to him. Yay candy. Lol overall, he loved it.

  4. Glad you all had a nice birthday trip for Destiny ! Love u all more: mom & nana
