The amazingly high quality of Chinese street food

September 2, 2012

Here is a great article on the artisanal quality of street food in Taipei, the main city in Taiwan. I would say that similar claims can be made for humble restaurants in Hong Kong as well. There is a little restaurant on the main drag in Hong Kong that has been selling the same product, noodle soup, to customers for over two hundred years. Not suprisingly, they really have it down to a science, and the place is always packed.

I agree. I have had good soups for low prices in Hong Kong and Taipai in little hole in the wall places. Always tasty and hardy.
